Once again we find ourselves in a political context where wealthy people, vying for self-serving power, are debating an issue that’s deeply rooted in harm and emotionally charged for most of us. Yet the harm is being both exacerbated AND erased, and our communities are feeling it. Reproductive injustice has been a bedrock issue for this country since its inception, particularly against enslaved African women. To have it used as a battleground for power and wealth extraction from our communities is a continued offense to our humanity.  

As Political Healers, we will not let the harm of reproductive injustice go unnoticed or unaddressed. We must protect ourselves from further harm, we must heal, and we must act! We are coming together virtually to create healing space for community members to feel safe, seen and heard regarding the impact of Roe v. Wade AND the real impact people will feel if Roe v. Wade is to be overturned. Join us for story sharing, political education and healing.
